Updated: Apr 13, 2021

Comfort decorating. The impetus of this blog grew out of the stay at home mandates due to Covid-19 pandemic. What with more time in our abodes perhaps customizing it to meet the special needs that are arising by creating an atmosphere that is relaxing, cozy and even inspiring. Sometimes design is in the small details! I quote Fred Rogers who says: What we have is less important than what we make out of what we have. That's a concept that also fits into my budget!
I believe our homes are indeed our sanctuary from the world and try to create a home away from home haven within rooms2stay. Running a boutique BnB, this concept bodes well with my guests who are weary after travel or on a hurried business schedule. With all that in mind, I am sharing some tips and techniques I've discovered, breaking it down to what may seem like minutia, to inspire you to create a place within your home to serve as your unique sanctuary, safe haven, refuge, shelter whatever you want to call it. Basically it's your consecrated space designed by you (and for you and yours) to relax and unwind.
I hope you enjoy and will share some of your ideas with me!
