In times like these PLEASE READ first:
Your stay and wellbeing are very important to rooms2stay. In light of the outbreak of the coronavirus, Rooms2stay wants to assure you all the necessary precautionary measures are being taken to ensure a safe experience for our guests. To that end Cat, your hostess, is upping the ante on disinfecting much as possible to keep rooms2stay “cootie” free as possible. This will also involve guest participation. The first request is to wash your hands, with soap, before you enter your room when you check-in and then again on return from your coming and goings.
Not only will common areas such as stair rails, doorknobs, light switches, surfaces, laundry will be sanitized (comforters) as well as the standard towel and sheet change. God willing there will be toilet paper. A new addition will be an option for guests will prepackaged foods for breakfast choice. As much as she enjoys concocted special breakfasts served family style (which she will still do if so desired, and as always at no additional charge). In the family style serving and prep plastic gloves are becoming her new best friend. Cat’s preference is to usually not use plastic or paper products when serving foodstuff. This too will change with future use of disposable and biodegradable plates, flatware, paper travel mugs, etc. use. She’s looking forward to the creative challenge of integrating all without losing the charm of a cozy quaint BnB and turning it into a sterilized hotel experience.
Cat typically does her own cleaning to keep costs down for the guest, and after hard consideration, is having to increase her fees to include cleaning. Her rates are still very competitive in the local market. Once a month, minimum, there will be a deep cleaning of the guest area, common area, bathroom, and food prep area. Meanwhile daily wipe downs, and general cleaning. Your (and my) health in this endeavor deserves nothing less.
