In the meantime (Pandemic 2020)...

Yes, rooms2stay is still open for business!

Your stay and wellbeing are very important to rooms2stay.  In light of COVID 19 restrictions, guidelines, and a commitment to the highest cleaning standards, rooms2stay wants to assure you that all the necessary precautionary measures are being taken to ensure a safe experience for guests.  To that end, Cat has upped the ante on disinfecting and sanitizing to keep rooms2stay COVID “cootie” free as possible.  This also involves guest participation like washing hands once you've entered and between your coming and goings, initial mask-wearing (more if preferred),  then safe distancing.   This establishment is within the state guidelines of the number of people allowed to gather in one indoor place.

Hospitality will not be sacrificed for safe accommodations. Also, she is adjusting her breakfast service with options to include prepackaged foods as well as condiments as an alternative choice. As much as she enjoys concocting special breakfasts served family-style (which she will still do if so desired, and as always at no additional charge); her preference is to usually not use plastic or paper products when serving foodstuff.  This too will change with the future use of disposable and biodegradable plates, cutlery, paper travel mugs, etc., use.  She’s looking forward to the creative challenge of integrating all without losing the charm of a cozy quaint BnB yet not turning it into a sterilized hotel experience.  There are no same-day reservations, to ensure a 24-hour  time frame to clean/sanitize efficiently.

A blog (on the "There's a Place for You" tab) is available on this site sharing tips and techniques to inspire you to create a small haven or sanctuary that you might find in a BnB as well as other ways to create an experience when you have family and friends staying with you.  Cat, the hostess/concierge at rooms2stay for over 6 years, creates these intentional decorative pockets seasonally in her BnB to make a relaxing place that goes beyond comfort and so can you. Most of the ideas are reused, repurposed or recycled things usually found in a household so are budget-friendly.  And then there are some ideas for creating fun experiences which in turn can inspire you to do something similar; treating your house guests to an extra special, memorable experience.  Oh and please remember to subscribe to this site.
