rooms2stay is a boutique bed and breakfast in Baldwin City KS., a bedroom community with one traffic light and home of Baker University. It is located a short drive SW of Kansas City and SE of Lawrence. This quaint historic home features 3 comfortable and inviting guest rooms, each with its own unique character. Without erasing her history, rooms2stay has been updated with modern-day amenities if not a bit nostalgic ones. Perfect lodging for local events and visits for BU happenings. Come stay and enjoy a warm welcome and a free hearty family-style breakfast (please let hostess know of specific dietary preference during registration) served by the hostess who lives on-site.
Guest rooms
Each guest room (3) is on the second floor with some snacks and hot beverages (plus use of microwave and small frig) in a common area between the rooms. The room sleeps 2 adults on linen linen-layered queen-size bed with a foam mattress topper. Keys for each room for security are available. FAQ: the house is not suited for pets, older folks, or children: it is not barrier-free (not handicap accessible). Off-street covered parking is available. Free wifi (with printing when requested) and individual desk/work space in each room plus office supplies. Rooms are by reservation only. There is no same-day/instant booking, request 24-hour notice.
